Potential Partners

Any horseracing fans, whether new/novice or long time veterans of the sport of kings, anyone w/ a passion for the game of thoroughbred racing can become an owner.

Ownership Expectations

Race horse ownership is a high-risk investment. If you are purchasing a partnership interest primarily to make a profit, donít. Most horses lose money, some more or less break even, a few are very successful. We hope to claim one of the few, but canít guarantee that. If, however, you measure success in the thrills and excitement of thoroughbred racing, sharing in the highs and lows of a horseís career, and celebrating the pageantry that is horse racing from an insiderís view, that can be guaranteed.

Benefits of Ownership

Usually these are sent by the end of Feb.

Gary gray has been in the thoroughbred/harness training business for most of his life. Gary grew up w/ horses and vegan successful standard bred training career at Louisville Downs. When that business sold out, Gary turned his attention to the thoroughbred action. He has been working w/ this breed for the last 15+ years. Gary is hands on, doing nearly all the work w/ the horse himself from hot walking, grooming, setting feed to managing the horses training schedule. In this way, Gary can train a horse at a much more reasonable rate (currently $40/day) than a more high profile trainer (many at twice Garyís rate or higher). Given an opportunity w/ quality stock, I have no doubt he can train w/ the best. Gary currently trains his horses at Paramount Farms located off US 42, just past Goshen.

Paul McGee has advanced to the highest level of the sport. He has trained Graded Stakes winners Suave, Honor in War and Bet on Sunshine among others. Paul manages a large stable of hoses (40-50) for some high profile clients. Many of these horses are high priced yearlings and 2 yo purchases. He also loves to claim horses, as this was his beginnings into the horse racing industry. As his such a large stable, the quality of horse must merit Paulís more expensive daily rate (currently at $85/day).

Racing Decisions and Purchases

Your communication of thoughts, suggestions, input and ideas into the decision-making is always welcome and encouraged, however, as per the LLC operating agreement, final racing/training decisions always rest w/ the trainer o record.
