Executive Council

What is Executive Council?
Executive Counci (aka EC or Council) is a student organization that
focuses on school spirit, event attendance, and spirit week. It is a
demanding club with mandatory weekly meetings.

What is Red/White Week?
Red/White Week (aka Spirit Week) is the most amazing, hectic,
exciting, and school-spirited week anyone could ever experience at
Manual High School. It is the week that students get psyched and
wait all year for - it's all for the big Manual v. Male football game.

How do I join?
Applications are available in the Spring for anyone who'd like to join EC
for the following year. Only 30 people are accepted into the club
every year, and being on EC the year before does not improve your
chances of being on Council again. If you'd like to remain a member,
you must reapply to be a member of EC every year.

Can I participate in EC activities without becoming a member?
Absolutely! We paint spirit week signs every Wednesday until
Red/White week from 2:30-4:00 PM. You can come help us paint and
get service hours (if your service organization permits)! You can also
help EC decorate or undecorate for Red/White week in November -
such help is greatly encouraged and appreciated. You may also
participate in our Kling Center Drives, get people to attend tailgating
and all sporting events, and participate in our various fundraisers!
