The Teacher

Currently teaching Algebra 1 and College Algebra, I do enjoy teaching Pre-Calculus and Algebra 2. In my 18th year teaching (16 with JCPS) I have
been at duPont Manual High School for the last 14 years. Originally teaching programming to MST students, I made the change to mathematics after
a few years. I enjoy that moment when students make sense of it all. Okay, perhaps you don't believe it, but it is true. I am one of those math geeks;
trying to get everyone to, if not become one themselves, at least makes the connection from the classroom to the "real world".

Tutoring...

Regardless of who your math teacher is I am always available after school on Tuesdays; if you need assistance on Wednesdays or Thursdays I am
usually in my classroom but it helps if you let me know ahead of time that you are stopping by. NOTE: During the Spring Semester (until Spring Break)
Wednesdays and Thursdays are set aside for Seniors who are working on Recovery Module.
