Manual’s PTSA, through its Partners for Excellence Campaign, has a proud history of success in procuring donations from families and businesses and using those funds to purchase needed equipment and educational materials for students at Manual. Last year we were able to purchase portable laptop computers and technology carts which allow them to be used by different classes, as needed.

This year’s Partners for Excellence program is geared toward raising funds for several worthwhile projects. The needs are for new outdoor furniture for the patio dining area and for new computers for the library.

Our students work hard and they have limited opportunities to enjoy a break from their work and socialize with their peers. When the weather is nice, the outside courtyard provides a chance to enjoy the weather, their friends and a welcome break. We want to replace the tables in the courtyard, as the current ones are not holding up well in the weather.

In addition, we would like to replace the desktop computers in the library which are quite old. Somehow, this particular need has always fallen to the bottom of the priority list until this year.

As you might expect, these are very expensive projects, so your financial support of this campaign is vital. We strongly encourage your participation in this worthwhile program.
